What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Supervisor position at Lawrence Hall?
Who we are
Lawrence Hall is a Chicago-based nonprofit social services agency that provides therapeutic, wellness, and skill development services to youth, families, and neighborhoods affected by lasting trauma. We foster healing and growth through empowerment, respect, safety, and teamwork.
Our Child & Family Treatment Center (CFTC) is a 24-hour residential program serving youth ages 8–18 referred through DCFS and ISBE who are experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges. Using a trauma-informed approach, we support youth in building the skills needed for long-term stability and well-being.
About the Role
As a Clinical Supervisor (Licensed Milieu Supervisor), you will serve as a clinical leader within a residential child welfare setting. You will be responsible for maintaining consistency, quality, and compliance across clinical services within a DCFS-regulated residential program. This position is ideal for a licensed clinician who is ready to grow into or further develop their leadership skills. You'll play a key role in strengthening clinical practice, supporting team effectiveness, and ensuring high-quality care within a structured, highly collaborative environment.
Prior child welfare experience is not required; we provide onboarding and training to support clinicians transitioning from outpatient or other settings into residential care. Support and guidance in developing supervisory and leadership skills are also provided.
