Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.# # Position Summary: Patient Safety Monitor, Full-time 32 Hours per Week, Nights, 11 pm#- 7:30 am#Lawrence Under the supervision of a registered nurse, as a Patient Safety Monitor you will provide one-to-one, two-to-one, or rounding observation of patients who have been deemed a safety risk to themselves and/or others. They assist in the provision of a safe and clean environment and provide assistance with activities of daily living, when appropriate. Communicates changes in behavior / activity to the registered nurse. # EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE: Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent BCLS or Heart Savor certification Knowledge and skills necessary to provide a safe environment Possesses the judgment and ability to effectively communicate observed changes Required training to be completed within 30 days: Completion of a certified crisis intervention training program Universal precautions and Infection control Seizure safety/protocols Fall protocols/prevention Restraints Suicide Precautions Preferred: Clinical work experience
