Holy Family Hospital **Holy Family Hospital is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 for the MRI Technologist role** # Position Summary:# As the MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for patient safety and the performance of high-quality MR studies. Ensures effective communication with customers, including radiologists as necessary. In some instances, it trains new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators. # DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ### #Responsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aseptic injection technique, etc. ### #Produces high quality diagnostic images. ### #Orders supply, cleans units, assists in preparing for transport on a daily basis. ### #Effectively communicate with customers and/or radiologists. ### #Trains new technologists and/or PCs. EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE: Required: ### #High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience# ### #Registered with ARRT. ### #State license, if applicable.# ### #BLS Certification# ### #Technologists registered in other modalities - 3 months supervised MRI clinical scanning experience or currently enrolled for more than 6 months in# # # # an accredited MRI training program. ### #MR registered technologist RT(MR) or ARMRIT - No experience required. ### #Strong customer service skills. # ### #Organizational and multitasking skills. # ### #Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs. Preferred: ### #Associate#s degree or Equivalent Experience ### #Registry in Magnetic Resonance by the ARRT. ### #1 year of Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience.
