Job Summary
The Lawrence County Learning Center, the local non-profit Community Education Council covering Lawrence and Beaver Counties, is hiring an Administrator to handle its day-to-day operations. The Administrator is responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating educational and workforce development programs, and managing community partnerships in alignment with the mission of Pennsylvania's Community Education Council (CEC) system. This position plays a key role in ensuring that the Learning Center effectively identifies, develops, and supports post-secondary and workforce training opportunities to meet the current and future needs of Lawrence and Beaver Counties.
The Administrator acts as a liaison:
1) With employers and community stakeholders to assess training needs and coordinate classes with training providers
2) With training providers to identify classes and programs needed in the community & coordinate training locations
3) With local community based organizations to identify additional support through training opportunities
4) With sites around the community that can be utilized for training opportunities
This is a part-time hourly position, averaging 20-25 hours per week. The successful candidate will have experience with program management, budgeting, sales, and grant writing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to seek out and coordinate training opportunities. Collaboration with educational providers and employers will be necessary to find, create, or customize training programs to meet the needs of the community. Some travel is required. The Administrator will have an office space co-located at the Butler County Community College - Lawrence campus in the Shenango Commons, with availability for remote/hybrid work options.

Pay: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour
