We’re looking for a skilled Over-the-Road Household Goods Driver to join our Greensboro, NC team and help customers through one of life’s biggest transitions — moving!

Position Summary

An immediate opportunity is available for an Over-the-Road Household Goods Company Driver based out of Greensboro, NC. We are seeking motivated, professional CDL-A drivers who take pride in delivering quality service and representing Lawrence Companies on the road and in customers’ homes. This position involves long-distance travel and multiple overnight stays per trip.

What You’ll Do

• Hit the road with confidence — operate company trucks safely and efficiently while following all DOT regulations.
• Be the face of Lawrence Companies — deliver exceptional customer service and professionalism throughout every move.
• Take pride in precision — conduct walkthroughs, carefully wrap, pack, and secure customers’ belongings for safe transport.
• Lead the team — guide and motivate moving crews to ensure each job runs smoothly from start to finish.
• Keep equipment ready to roll — inspect trucks and tools before and after each trip to maintain our high safety standards.
• Stay organized and accountable — complete all required logs and paperwork accurately and on time.

What You Bring

• A valid CDL-A license (required) and a safe driving record.
• At least 1 year of driving experience preferred
• At least 6 months of household goods experience a must.
• A customer-first attitude and strong communication skills.
• The ability to lift up to 100 lbs unassisted and stay active throughout the day.
• Reliability in all weather conditions — rain or shine, you get the job done right.
• A commitment to teamwork, safety, and professionalism every step of the way.
• Candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
