Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of landscape construction crews to ensure timely completion of projects
- Lead installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and water features with attention to detail
- Oversee planting, lawn care, tree care, irrigation systems, and garden installation to achieve high-quality results
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies by conducting regular site inspections
- Manage project materials, tools, and equipment to optimize productivity and minimize waste
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and project managers to meet project specifications and client expectations
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to foster skills development and maintain a motivated workforce
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, and horticulture practices
- Strong supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques, gardening, tree care, irrigation systems, and general construction processes
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance equipment and tools
- Ability to assess project needs accurately and troubleshoot issues promptly
- Clear communication skills for coordinating with clients, suppliers, and team members
