Duties

• Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, power tools, and irrigation systems to maintain lawns, gardens, and landscapes
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, tree care, and gardening to enhance outdoor aesthetics
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for landscaping projects and hardscape installations
• Conduct snow plowing operations using snow blowers, plows, and other snow removal equipment to ensure safe pathways during winter storms
• Identify plants, trees, pests, and weeds to support horticulture efforts and pest management strategies
• Follow safety protocols rigorously during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure team safety

Requirements

• Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of grounds maintenance practices
• Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation and basic repairs
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, planting, pruning, and hedge trimming
• Ability to operate lawn care machinery such as mowers and snow plowing equipment safely
• Experience with construction or hardscape projects is a plus
• Strong adherence to safety protocols with a focus on accident prevention in outdoor environments
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with the motivation to deliver high-quality outdoor spaces in all seasons
• Needs a driver license and no criminal record
