Founded in 2001, LEARN is a network of high-performing college preparatory, tuition-free public elementary and middle schools with the mission of providing children with the academic foundation and ambition to earn a college degree. There are 11 LEARN Schools serving 4,100 students in grades PK-8 across Chicago, Waukegan, North Chicago, and Washington, D.C.

What You'll Do
As an Office Manager Assistant, your critical tasks will include but not limited to:
Essential Duties
• Provides support to the Office Manager with various data and organizational tasks
• Facilitates daily operations of the main office including general student interactions, answering phones and emails, receiving payments for various fees, etc.
• Maintains appropriate records and documentation of office operations
Qualifications:

- Have experience working with computers including software (such as Excel) and student information management systems (i.e. Powerschool and ASPEN)
- Evaluate and improve processes
- Perform responsible, accurate and timely clerical work
- Understand and carry out oral and written directions
- Type at least 40-50 WPM
- Are able to establish and maintain professional relationships
- Can communicate accurately, courteously and effectively –orally and in writing – to different audiences
Preferred
- You are bilingual

Working Conditions and Physical Demands
Nature of work required an ability to operate standard business office equipment. Required ability to communicate and exchange information, collect, compile and prepare work documents, set-up and maintain work files. Majority of work is performed in a general office environment. May require participation and attendance at organization sponsored events and meetings.
