lawnCARE solutions, llc is an established, locally-owned Landscape Maintenance Company servicing Commercial Properties and Home Owners Associations in Highlands Ranch and close surrounding neighborhoods. We are looking for Lawn Care Technicians to join our team. This position is year-round, as we complete snow removal during the winter seasons. Individuals with arboriculture experience are encouraged to apply and will work directly with ISA Certified Arborist.
Position Title: Lawn Care Technician with QS Applicator License
Position Overview: Applications of various chemicals (fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, etc.) for Commercial Properties and Home Owner Associations; Maintain weed-free landscapes by use of chemical and manual means; Landscape maintenance services and duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Chemical applications to turf, native grass areas, shrubs, landscaped beds, trees, ornamental plants, concrete/paved areas, mulch and rock beds; manual removal of weeds.
- Apply chemicals per schedule, safety procedures and label instructions.
- Spraying of liquid chemicals & spreading of granular chemicals, including fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides and insecticides.
- Analyze, diagnose and treat issues related to fertilization, weeds, pests, diseases and any other abnormalities.
- Calibrate sprayers and spreaders, perform accurate measurements and mixing of chemicals.
- Deep-Core Aeration, Turf and Native Seeding.
- Plant Health Care services, including tree and perennial care plans.
- Dress appropriately, in uniform, with proper safety gear for applications, per Department of Agriculture and OSHA.
- Comply with the Department of Agriculture and Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) laws and regulations regarding the use of pesticides and licensing requirements.
- Seasonal maintenance contract property clean ups, shrub or tree pruning.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess and maintain a valid US Driver License, have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be legally able to be employed in Colorado
- Knowledge of backpack sprayers, spreaders and calibration equipment; Experience with chemical rates and mixing.
- Basic math skills and conversions required to measure and mix proper amounts of liquids and granular products.
- Able to carry backpack spray tanks, 25-50lbs, for 4 hours to complete spot spray applications.
- Preferably knowledgeable in arboriculture to assist Arborist with tree services.

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
