Job Summary
The Lawn Technician is responsible for applying lawn care treatments within an assigned route, communicating with customers, and ensuring safe and accurate service. After training, this role works independently using a company vehicle and equipment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands on outdoor work and interacting with customers.

- Occasional Saturdays as needed

- Assigned ride on machine for each route
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and other lawn treatments using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate professionally with customers and answer basic service questions
- Explain Lawn Squad programs and recommend additional services when appropriate
- Complete service calls following company procedures
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized vehicles and equipment
- Document treatments and stay in communication with customers to help prevent lawn issues
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Coordinate with branch staff as needed to support customer needs
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record that qualifies for company vehicle use
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working outdoors in different weather
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently after training
- Reliable and able to meet daily route expectations
- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Ability to work outdoors, in extreme temperatures, wet/humid environments, and/or with vibration
- Working with mechanical and chemical hazards and conditions including fumes, odors, dusts, gases, and/or poor ventilation
- Ability to climb, talk, crouch, stand, balance, reach, grasp, pull, lift, see, hear, and operate tools and vehicles
