Job Summary
Looking for someone to help with lawn care working 4-5 days per week mowing, and trimming at residential and commercial properties. MUST have a drivers license, clean driving record and MINIMUM 1 year experience working in lawn care profession. Minimum pay $20 per hour
Duties
- Mow lawns using push mowers, riding mowers, or other power tools to achieve a clean, even cut.
- Trim trees, shrubs, and hedges to maintain landscape design and promote healthy growth.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, weeding, planting, and mulching to enhance curb appeal.
- Operate hand tools and power equipment including trimmers, blowers, excavators, and irrigation systems for various landscaping projects.
- Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways.
- Assist with hardscape installations like patios or walkways using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Maintain equipment through routine inspections and basic mechanical knowledge to ensure optimal performance.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain landscaping equipment and power tools.
- Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening.
- Familiarity with landscaping techniques including tree care, pruning, trimming, and planting.
- Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes efficiently.
- Experience with excavators or other construction machinery is a plus for larger projects.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems setup and maintenance to support healthy landscapes.
- Understanding of horticulture principles for plant health and landscape design.
- Ability to perform snow plowing safely during winter conditions.
- Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
