We're growing fast and we're looking for a reliable, customer-focused Lawn Technician to join our team! We don't mow and we don't dig—it's professional, science-based lawn care: applying precise treatments to fertilize, control weeds, fight pests, seed, aerate, and more. If you love being largely self-directed, working outdoors, and delivering top-notch service, this could be your perfect fit.
What You'll Do:
- Travel to residential and commercial customer homes in a company-provided, fully equipped vehicle
- Apply the correct amounts of fertilizer, herbicides, seeding, aeration, and pest control treatments (mosquitoes, grubs, moles, etc.) with precision and care
- Diagnose basic lawn issues and provide friendly, knowledgeable recommendations to our customers
- Achieve modest add-on sales goals by spotting opportunities and offering value-added services
- Maintain accurate service records and follow safety/environmental protocols
- Deliver exceptional customer service—aiming for 4.8 star Google reviews through professionalism, listening and recommending solutions
- Keep your personal appearance, uniform, and service vehicle spotless and professional at all times (we provide uniforms!)
- Maintain or obtain Missouri pesticide applicator and service technician licenses (we support training and renewal)
What We're Looking For:
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (required)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and work outdoors in varying weather
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and great communication skills—customers love our techs!
- Previous lawn care, landscaping, agriculture, or pest control experience is a big plus (but not required—we provide comprehensive paid training!)
- Willingness to obtain or maintain Missouri pesticide applicator license (we'll help you get certified)
- No mowing experience needed—this is treatment-focused lawn health work
