Job Description: Brookside has a satellite location with an established client base in Columbus that is seeking a qualified candidate to spearhead growth as the Lawn Care Manager. This role is ideal for self-motivated individuals with a background in lawn care who are enthusiastic about delivering exceptional service and contributing to company growth. As a working manager, you will have the opportunity to begin as the sole technician and build the Columbus team as the company grows. The Lawn Care Manager will lead and support production crews in performing fertilization and weed control programs while ensuring adherence to company guidelines and policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a lawn care technician
- Valid driver's license (with no more than 2 points)
- Clean background check
- Willingness to adhere to company guidelines and policies
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Integrity, honesty, and a customer-centric approach
Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site visits to client properties to perform work according to established company standards.
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and termination processes of direct reports under the guidance of the General Manager.
- Manage all paperwork and facilitate training and accountability within the growing team.
- Efficiently route and schedule technicians’ assignments to ensure prompt completion of customer service requests.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and constructive feedback to technicians.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
