The Internet Sales Consultant manages the complete digital sales pipeline and transitions online buyers into dealership customers. This hybrid role requires executing communication across email, chat, phone, and face-to-face interactions.
Key Responsibilities
* Digital Lead Management: Respond to online inquiries via website forms, email, and live chat within target response times.
* Lead Cultivation: Execute phone/text/email/chat outreach to answer product questions and secure showroom appointments.
* In-Person Consultation: Meet pre-scheduled digital buyers at the dealership to facilitate vehicle viewings and test drives.
* CRM Tracking (Customer Retention Management): Log all customer interactions, follow-up schedules, and deal progression details inside the CRM system.
Required Qualifications
* Experience: Preferred but not required, Minimum 1–2 years in automotive sales, digital retail, or customer service environments.
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal clarity paired with error-free, professional writing skills for text and email.
* Tech Literacy: Proficiency using dealership CRM software, inventory portals, and video communication tools.
