Armed Security Guard - Glendora, CA.

We are seeking exceptional Security Guards to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual(s) will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.This is a seasonal part-time position to full-time in Glendora, CA.. It is predominantly a static post dealing with access control and site security.An end date is not set on these contracts but we will inform the hired guard(s) as soon as that information becomes available.This position requires a BSIS Guard Card ANDan Exposed Weapons Permit. Please have copies of these available upon request.RESPONSIBILITIES:Keeping the site, materials, staff and patrons safe.Monitor premises as a visual deterrent to theft, violence, and/or infractions of rulesThoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and securityEnforce premise rules and regulationsReport any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes to Chain of CommandRequest emergency personnel for high risk situationsMulti-tasking, prioritizing and completing tasks in an organized, efficient and effective manner.Safeguarding and maintaining highly sensitive and confidential information.Safeguarding individuals and property from all forms of security and safety hazards.Responding to alarms/fire/panic calls immediately and promptly securing the safety and security of human life and physical property.Strictly adhering to SOPs.Writing reports.Conducting thorough investigations and preparing written documentation regarding non-routine incidents with incident reports, pictures and witness statements.REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of 1 year of full-time uniformed security experience preferred.Law Enforcement, Military and/or National Guard experience preferredValid driver’s license.BSIS Guard Card – Required for all positionsBSIS Exposed Firearms Permit – Required for Armed PositionsCPR certification preferred.About usLaw Security & Investigations, Inc. is a full spectrum security solutions provider in Los Angeles and Southern California that specializes in manpower.We provide uniformed armed guards, plain-clothes residential security teams, corporate office security, executive protection, and disaster relief.
