The ideal candidate will have previous experience organizing documents and enjoy supporting our team in an independent capacity. This role is expected to adhere to a fully on-site, part-time work schedule 5 days per week.

The Opportunity
Samer Habbas & Associates is seeking an organized, meticulous File Clerk to join our team in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have previous experience organizing documents and enjoy supporting our team in an independent capacity. This role is expected to adhere to a fully on-site, part-time work schedule 5 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Sort, scan, label, and file physical and digital documents in the Firm's electronic filing system and case management software
- Distribute physical documents to appropriate party in Irvine location
- Convert paper records into electronic formats and uploading them to the internal filing system and case management software
- Monitor firm email inboxes (eService, Fax) and ensure documents are stored and distributed correctly
- Provide occasional Front Desk support in the capacity of answering phones, welcoming clients and employees, validating parking tickets, and other related functions as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Google Workspace, and Windows File Explorer
- Comfortable with learning new computer software programs
- Detail-oriented and focused mindset for accurate filing
- Intuitive problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent reading comprehension
- Superb written and oral communication
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information securely
- Proficiency with using scanners and copiers
- Associate's degree
- 1-3 years of data entry, file clerk, or related experience
- Previous Law Firm experience
- Previous experience with case management software
- $18.00 - $24.00 an hour depending on experience
