Our boutique Elder Law and Estates firm in Mount Sinai, New York is seeking a Medicaid Paralegal to join our growing team. This Medicaid Paralegal position is available on a part time or full time basis and is ideal for someone looking to build or grow a career as a Medicaid Paralegal in an elder law practice.
The ideal Medicaid Paralegal candidate is detail oriented, organized, and compassionate, with the ability to manage deadlines and sensitive financial information. Prior experience as a Medicaid Paralegal, including hands on work with Medicaid applications and Medicaid planning matters, is preferred. However, we are willing to train the right Medicaid Paralegal candidate who demonstrates strong attention to detail, reliability, and an interest in elder law and Medicaid planning.
As a Medicaid Paralegal, you will work closely with attorneys to prepare and manage Medicaid applications, collect and review financial documentation, communicate with clients and government agencies, and track deadlines to ensure Medicaid cases move efficiently. The Medicaid Paralegal will play a key role in guiding clients through the Medicaid process with clarity, professionalism, and compassion.
