What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Law Paralegal position at Law Offices of Robert Hannan, PA?
We are seeking a dedicated, organized, experienced, and detail-oriented Florida Family Law Paralegal to support our busy Family Law Firm in Satellite Beach. You will be responsible for handling family law matters from intake to conclusion. This is a great opportunity.
This is an in-office position, but some remote days are possible for the right candidate
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting attorney with all phases of family law cases
- Drafting pleadings, motions, financial affidavits, discovery documents, and correspondence
- Organizing and maintaining electronic files
- Coordinate hearings, mediations, depositions, and maintain attorney and office calendar
- Communicate with professional clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Assist with trial preparation, exhibits, and witness preparation
- Prepare exhibit notebooks for hearings and trials
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Paralegal is required
- Familiarity with My Case, DPA, and Trust accounting software is preferred
- Strong knowledge of family law procedures and tracking a multitude of deadlines
- Ability to work independently and with other staff
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
