Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of workers' compensation law, and will be responsible for supporting attorneys in their daily tasks. This role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.DutiesFile legal documents with courts and other relevant entities in compliance with established procedures (EAMS filing).Prepare QME/AME packages.Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings.Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.Interview clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases.Perform clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.Required to review and understand AME/QME reports.RequirementsBilingual in Spanish5 years of knowledge in workers compensationIn-depth knowledge of legal terminology and procedures in workers' compensationExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear interaction with clients and colleagues.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offWork Location: In person
