Job Overview
We are seeking experienced attorneys to join as Of Counsel and conduct residential and commercial real estate closings in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut on an as-needed basis. Massachusetts-admitted attorneys may also draft purchase and sale agreements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct purchase, sale, and refinance closings per state law and lender requirements
- Review closing documents and explain them clearly to all parties
- Coordinate with our closing team, lenders, and agents, and return executed documents promptly
- Draft and negotiate MA purchase and sale agreements (MA-admitted attorneys)
Qualifications
- Active bar license in good standing in RI, MA, or CT (multiple states a plus)
- Real estate closing experience preferred
- Notary commission (or willingness to obtain) and reliable transportation
