We are a top tier, highly respected commercial litigation law firm focusing on commercial collections and construction litigation with a growing practice. We currently have four attorneys, a paralegal, legal secretary and office coordinator and seek to add one more experienced seasoned litigator. We work collegiately and in a collaborative manner as a team and are family friendly.
About the role:
We seek a Litigation Attorney with between zero and five years of commercial litigation (preferably collections and construction law) and extensive civil non-small claim trial experience to join our team in Framingham, MA. This position has room for potential growth for the right candidate. You should be detail oriented, driven and able to work well with others in a team environment. Portable billings and existing clients a plus but not necessary. Although we do not currently offer health insurance we are exploring same.
Salary range $75,000.00 to $135,000.00 .
Pay is commensurate with applicable experience and verifiable portable billings
Responsibilities:
- Drafting, filing pleadings, motions;
- Court appearances arguing in support of motions or opposing motions;
- Conducting and defending depositions
- Trying bench and jury cases all courts;
- Preparing discovery and other legal documents;
- Communicating with clients, witnesses, courts, sheriff's and other attorneys;
- Investigating and analyzing client accounts;
- Investigating client’s claims;
- Managing client files and accounts;
- All other aspects of civil litigation in state and federal courts;
- Managing personnel
