Job Summary:

Our client is a respected California-based Labor & Employment law firm representing employers exclusively, with decades of experience counseling and defending management across all areas of employment law. The firm is known for practical, business-oriented legal solutions and a strong commitment to attorney development and work-life balance.

They are currently hiring Associate Attorneys to join their growing team, with the opportunity to work on high-quality matters in a collaborative, flexible hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Defend employers in single-plaintiff employment litigation, with growing exposure to PAGA and class action matters
• Represent clients in administrative proceedings (e.g., CRD, EEOC, DLSE)
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Advise clients on day-to-day employment law issues, including wage & hour, leave laws, discipline, and workplace policies
• Draft and revise employee handbooks, policies, and employment agreements
• Assist with mediations, depositions, and trial preparation alongside senior attorneys

Must Haves:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
• 1 years of employment litigation experience (defense-side preferred; plaintiff-side candidates transitioning to defense will be considered)
• Familiarity with wage & hour, PAGA, or class action matters is a plus

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $140,000 – $350,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
