Associate Attorney - Immigration Law Firm
Firm Overview: One managing partner/owner, four associate attorneys, three paralegals, one office manager, one bookkeeper, and one administrative assistant. The firm concentrates on removal defense, motions to reopen/rescind, appeals in the Board of Immigration Appeals and federal courts of appeals, federal district court mandamus and APA civil suits, immigrant visas through foreign embassies, green cards, and naturalization through USCIS, state court civil actions associated with juvenile visas.
Must have some immigration law experience, up to three years
Salary commensurate with experience
Must be admitted to practice law in any state and in good standing
Spanish language fluency a plus, but not a requirement
Must have strong writing skills and a good work ethic and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
Must have immigration experience or demonstrated prior interest in immigration law
Must have a commitment to helping immigrants
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work well with others
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
