Job Summary
Sylvia Noel White Law Office is looking for a dedicated, organized professional pursuing an entry-level job into the legal field. Clients often come to our firm in a time of grief and loss, and our mission is to provide "White Glove" treatment through high-level service, attention to detail, and compassion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk duties, including keeping the front desk space neat and organized
  • Answer phones efficiently and route calls accurately
  • Maintain organized filing systems to ensure easy retrieval of documents
  • Support office management tasks such as calendar management, appointment scheduling, and meeting coordination
  • Handle clerical responsibilities including writing checks, processing invoices, and tracking payments
  • Process, distribute, and file mail
  • Maintain and organize firm calendar
  • Navigate our firms all-in-one legal software

This is an entry-level position and as such, no prior experience is required. Prior legal or customer service experience is appreciated. However, the ideal candidate will exhibit the following:

Skills

  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently
  • Knowledge of office equipment such as phone systems, fax machines, and printers a plus.
  • Exceptional phone etiquette coupled with professional communication skills both verbal and written
  • Willingness to learn clerical tasks such as proofreading, filing, and record keeping is essential
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping software like QuickBooks or similar tools is a plus

Please note as this is a family office, the family dogs are at the office daily.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
