Duties
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and counsel across multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, patent law, landlord-tenant law, litigation, and more.
- Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, motions, briefs, wills, trusts, and other legal instruments with precision and clarity.
- Conduct thorough legal research utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, hearings, and court proceedings to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
- Develop case strategies by analyzing facts, evidence, statutes, and case law; prepare detailed reports for internal review or client updates.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to coordinate efforts on complex legal issues involving environmental impact assessments or tribal regulations.
- Maintain meticulous records of case files, correspondence, research notes, and administrative documentation in the law office management system.
- Stay current on evolving laws through ongoing research and professional development to ensure the highest quality of legal service.

- Extensive knowledge of estate planning techniques including wills and trusts; environmental law principles; immigration procedures; family law processes; securities regulations; tribal laws & regulations; workers' compensation statutes; personal injury claims; patent application procedures; landlord-tenant disputes; litigation strategies; legal research methodologies using LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients while fostering positive relationships.
- Exceptional research skills with proficiency in analyzing complex legal issues quickly and accurately.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting clear, persuasive legal documents tailored to diverse audiences.
- Proven experience in legal drafting across various practice areas with attention to detail.
- Legal administrative experience including managing case files efficiently within a busy law office environment.
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly both orally and in writing to clients, colleagues, courts or regulatory agencies.
