The Role We are seeking an Associate Attorney with 1 to 3 years of experience in family law who thrives in a traditional office setting. This position is 100% in-office, allowing for real-time mentorship and a seamless team workflow. You will handle a diverse caseload including divorce, child custody, and modifications from initial intake through final resolution.

The Importance of Detail In a small office, precision is our greatest asset. We are looking for a professional who is naturally meticulous, e.g., the type of person who catches the typo in the third paragraph and ensures every deadline is captured in our case management system. We know no one is perfect, but we are looking for someone who gives it their best effort every time.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials in Williamson and Travis Counties.
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests, and complex orders with accuracy.
• Maintain direct and empathetic communication with clients.
• Collaborate daily with the principal attorney and support staff to ensure case files are organized and handled correctly.

Requirements

• License: Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Texas (Required).
• Experience: 1-3 years experience practicing in family law (Preferred).
• Skills: Exceptional writing ability and a strong courtroom presence.
• Location: Must be able to work daily from our Round Rock office. We welcome candidates looking to relocate to the Greater Austin area.
