Job Title: Part-Time Personal Injury Paralegal
Location: Law Office of James H. Guest, L.L.C. – Englewood, CO
Schedule: Part-Time / 4 to 5 days per week, 4 to 5 hours per day (flexible schedule)
Position Summary
Legal professional to join a boutique personal injury law practice. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, empathetic paralegal who excels at managing pre-litigation and litigation tasks, communicating with clients, and keep files organized efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage plaintiff personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial preparation.
- Collect, organize, and summarize medical records, billing statements, police reports, and insurance documentation.
- Draft legal documents, including demand letters, pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.
- Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and defense counsel.
- Assist attorney James H. Guest with calendar management, court filings, and hearing prep.
- Maintain electronic client case files and track subrogation/medical liens.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2 years of personal injury paralegal or legal assistant experience (plaintiff side preferred).
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Colorado personal injury procedures, auto insurance claims, and medical terminology.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; highly organized with acute attention to detail.
- Technical: Proficient with Microsoft Office, Windows, QuickBooks (a plus), and legal case management software.
