What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Law Associate position at Law Office of Donald Matthews?
Single Practitioner Office located on Westside of Jacksonville. Role: Associate Attorney (3 to 10 years experience); Description: Focus on family law, particularly marital law including contested and non-contested dissolutions, modifications, contempt actions, step-parent (or grandparent) adoptions, and paternity actions, with the occasional guardianship and adult name change cases. Initially this will be a part time position, with client interviews conducted at the law office and the ability to work in-office at least two to three days a week, with the potential to expand to full time. Requirements: J.D. from an accredited law school and an active Florida Bar license in good standing. General knowledge and experience in all areas of family law is mandatory.
The Law Office of Donald W. Matthews is a general practice law office, handling primarily Family law and Estate planning or Probate cases. We are a small office, but quite busy and see clients by appointment mostly, but have the occasional walk-in client.
