What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Law Attorney position at Law Office of Daniel Hutto, PLLC?
We are seeking a Family Law Attorney with a minimum of 1 year experience in divorce/custody legal proceedings or other comparable area of practice to become a part of our team! We handle complex and high-conflict matters including divorce, custody disputes, relocation cases, and protective order litigation. Our attorneys take real ownership of their cases and spend meaningful time in court.
Responsibilities:
- Manage your own family law caseload
- Appear regularly in Superior Court throughout Arizona
- Draft motions, objections, pretrial statements and other legal pleadings
- Work directly with clients navigating high-stakes personal matters
- Complete formal discovery and disclosure of relevant evidence
- Negotiate resolution and attend mediation on behalf of clients
- Prepare for and conduct final trials and/or evidentiary hearings
- Collaborate with an experienced litigation team
Ideal Candidate:
- 2–7 years of family law experience (Arizona preferred)
- Comfortable handling hearings and courtroom advocacy
- Strong writing and case strategy skills
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage a caseload independently
