A well-established California law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team in a hybrid capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2 years of litigation experience who is looking to handle meaningful matters, work closely with experienced attorneys, and continue developing within a collaborative legal environment.

Position Overview:

The firm is looking for an Associate Attorney to support its litigation practice, with a focus on environmental law matters. Candidates with experience across various any litigation practice areas are encouraged to apply, as the firm is open to attorneys with diverse litigation backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a variety of environmental litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Prepare discovery responses, manage case strategy, and assist with depositions and hearings
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex litigation matters
• Provide high-quality legal analysis and written work product

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active California Bar admission required
• 2 years of litigation experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines
• Environmental law experience is a plus, but candidates from other litigation backgrounds will be considered

Salary & Other Compensation:

• The annual salary for this position ranges from $150,000–$180,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
