All inquiries kept confidential.Compensation:$110,000 - $140,000 yearlyResponsibilities:Manage a litigation-heavy family law docket (divorce, parentage, pre/post‑decree, support, allocation of parental responsibilities, and orders of protection).Take ownership of cases through final resolution: strategy, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, settlement, and trial.Serve as a trusted counselor to clients navigating crisis—balancing empathy with clear, candid advice.Collaborate with a tight-knit team of attorneys, paralegals, and outside professionals (forensic accountants, business valuators, and mental‑health professionals).Contribute to firm growth through mentoring junior lawyers, refining systems, and, if interested, helping with business development.Qualifications:5 years of focused matrimonial/family law experience in Illinois, with significant courtroom exposure in Cook and other Illinois counties.Current Illinois bar license in good standing.Proven ability to run cases: you can move files, hit deadlines, and drive matters to resolution.Exceptional writing and oral advocacy; comfortable arguing contested motions and evidentiary hearings.People skills, maturity, and discretion when dealing with affluent and/or high‑conflict clients.Strong business sense: respect for billable time, responsiveness, and reliability; you do what you say you will do.About CompanyChicago law firm
