What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer position at Law Enforcement Total Solutions of Missouri, LLC?
We are seeking dedicated and qualified FULL and PART TIME Flex Unarmed Security Officer to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify and respond to risks to staff and patrons. The location of this post is at various locations in Saint Louis City and County, Missouri as needed. This position is for an UNARMED FLEX OFFICER. There are various shifts available so open availability is a MUST. The posts available include inside retail, mobile vehicle patrol, and event staff. Particular assignments will be based on need. Driver's license is MANDATORY for any mobile patrol post. Priority will be given to candidates with open availability.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Consistently drive the premises when required
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
- Maintain high visibility to provide a secure presence
- Occasionally perform foot patrols through tenant stores
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields is preferred
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to take direction
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Weekend availability is REQUIRED
- Valid driver's license is REQUIRED
- Reliable vehicle is required with valid insurance as there may be vehicle patrols scheduled using personal vehicle. Pay rate premium will apply in this instance.
Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
