Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Labor and Employment Attorney. The attorney will provide legal representation and support to public safety personnel, particularly in labor and employment matters. Day-to-day tasks include advising on labor and employment laws, representing clients in employment litigation, drafting legal documents and motions, conducting research, and assisting with contract negotiations and grievance resolutions.
Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge of Labor Law and Employment Law
- Experience with Employment Litigation and drafting related motions
- Strong Research and analytical skills to manage cases effectively
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to practice law in Minnesota
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience in representing unions or employee organizations is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teams and individual clients
