As a representative for our company, you will be responsible for all aspects of the FOH Experience team and the execution, preparation, and cooking of scheduled meal services at our kitchen and café. Essential Functions (subject to change with proper notice)
- Manages time effectively to allow time for responding to emails, menu writing, scheduling, and other administrative tasks
- Works directly with the Sous Chef(s), Jr. Sous Chef(s), and Lead(s) to execute program
- Collaborates with the Sous Chef(s), Jr. Sous Chef(s) about any needs
- Prepares a daily prep list and maintains par levels throughout the week, communicating with the Sous Chef(s) or Jr. Sous Chef(s) as needed
- Notifies Sous Chef(s) or Jr. Sous Chef(s) of any changes, outages, or shortages
- Turns on and tests all FOH related equipment
- Verifies all cards and menus are up to date with the correct information
- Preforms quality control checks on all front of the house service items
- Reheats soups as needed for service and maintains sufficient levels during service
- Creates and prepares Grab & Go sandwich and salad specials as needed
- Monitors the number of guests entering and exiting the cafés (plate counts)
- Records the number of guests served per service and pastry items consumed
- Polishes plates, bowls, cups, trays, and silverware and keeps stocked throughout service
- Set up, breakdown and replenish all service items as needed during service
- Maintains a daily and weekly cleaning list for the Front of the House Harvest Team
- Maintain cleanliness of Front of the House equipment (Froyo Machine, Waffle Machine, Panini Press, etc.)
- Set up and maintain dessert station and soft serve bar for service
- Produce service recaps for breakfast and lunch
- Conduct write ups with higher level management
- Prepare a prep list for the PM Team
- Meet with Jr. Sous Chef(s) and PM team to review the day and go over prep list needs
- Responds to and addresses any Guest related issues and or requests
- Responsible for cleaning the equipment used including individual station, food processing equipment and tools, etc.
- Properly orders all harvest products and checks in items (Cafepro, Pick Sheets)
- Follow all HACCP plans and procedures and take corrective action as needed
- To delegate responsibilities to subordinates as required and continuously follow up on progress of delegation
- Ensure that all Team Members are always in clean, tidy uniforms and are always presentable
- Conducts in-person interviews and working interviews as scheduled
- Ensure that all food preparation equipment is being used safely and correctly and that it is cleaned and maintained
- Ensure that a consistent first-class product of the highest quality is achieved and maintained in the production kitchen while still adhering to operational deadlines
- To manage and lead all Team Members fairly and take a personal interest in knowing each person
- To project a positive and motivated attitude amongst all Team Members
- Coach and counsel Team Members in a timely manner and in accordance with Company policy
- Identify strengths and weaknesses and provide timely feedback to the individual
- Ensure that the Culinary Team adheres to all company policies and procedures

Knowledge and Skills
- Mid-level culinary skills and experience with high volume production and large batch cooking
- First hand experience with menu planning
- Strong communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
- Sense of urgency and ability to work and lead a team within a safe manner
Education and Work Experience
- Culinary school degree preferred but not required
- At least three years relative experience in kitchen and operations management in a full service, moderate to high volume Restaurant, Club, or Catering establishment
- Solid track record of success in previous assignments/operation

- Valid King County Food Handler Permit
- Valid ServSafe Manager Certification
- Completes Learn, Legal, and Privacy courses required by Meta
- Positions at this location require proof of COVID-19 vaccinations, boosters, and/or regular COVID-19 testing.

Physical Demands
- Some heavy lifting (may lift 10-40 lbs.) and possible moving of equipment required
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision for safe navigation of work area and use of equipment
- Heavy and repetitive hand and arm motion involved in production and clean up
- Standing, walking, bending/twisting, and balance are all required to perform job task
- Reaching across surfaces while moving containers, reaching above shoulders for containers for removal and storage
- Standing a minimum of 8 hours a day
- Carrying containers of different sizes and different types of products of all shapes and sizes
- Removing hot items from oven
- Able to work 10 hours or more shift plus ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
- Must possess hearing, visual, and sensory abilities to observe and detect emergency situations; also distinguish product, taste, texture, and temperature
