Chong, M.D. | Newport Beach, CAAbout the Practice Dr. Lavinia Chong is a premier, board-certified plastic surgeon located in the prestigious Newport Medical Plaza near Fashion Island. Our boutique, QuadA-accredited surgical suite is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centric care in a welcoming and safe environment. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our "AAA" team (Able, Affable, and Available).The Role This is a full-time position for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented surgical environment. While Med-Surg experience is a prerequisite, our Lead RN will provide extensive, personalized onboarding to ensure your success in our specialized aesthetic workflow.ScheduleBusiness Hours: Monday through Friday (No weekends).Shifts: Full-time; scheduled according to the surgical cases for the day.Core ResponsibilitiesComprehensive Patient Care: Lead patient consultations, conduct pre-operative visits, and manage post-operative wound care, including suture removal and IV administration.Perioperative Nursing: Oversee pre-op admissions, serve as a circulating nurse, and manage post-operative recovery (PACU). Perform specimen processing and maintain the breast implant registry.Nurse Management & Operations: Assist in the management of the surgical suite, including inventory control of anesthesia medications and supply ordering.Compliance & Education: Participate in the maintenance of our QuadA (AAAASF) accreditation and contribute to patient and staff education events.Risk Management: Uphold the highest standards of safety and quality assurance to ensure optimal patient outcomes.PrerequisitesActive, unrestricted State of California Registered Nursing License.Current ACLS Certification.Current health screenings (TB, Hepatitis, etc.).Excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to a "concierge-style" patient experience.Ability to start immediately.Professional Development Opportunities We believe in investing in our team’s growth.
