This position requires a strong background in healthcare, particularly in areas such as physiology, infection control, epidemiology and wound care. The Clinical Educator will be responsible for developing educational programs, conducting training sessions, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

IP/CE Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff.
- Provide training and guidance to nurses on clinical procedures and best practices.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify learning needs and gaps in knowledge.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to develop educational goals and objectives.
- Create educational materials, such as presentations, handouts, and online resources.
- Deliver educational sessions through various formats, including in-person, virtual, and self-paced modules.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Stay up to date with current healthcare practices, regulations, and advancements in nursing education with administrative responsibilities.
- On Call rotation with management Team
Wound Care Responsibilities:
- Record patients’ medical history accurately
- Coordinate Wound Care in association with Physician, Director of Nursing or Wound consultants.
- Update care plans with current treatments orders
- Complete assessments and document on wound care report and provide to Director of Nursing and designee.
- Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
- Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions.
- Direct staff as necessary
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license (RN or BSN) - Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Experience in teaching or providing education to healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using technology for educational purposes
