Youth Services Manager – Housing Access (Coordinated Entry and Rapid Rehousing)

Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week), Exempt
Reports To: Vice President of People and Programs
Location: In-person at LYRIC’s Purple House, San Francisco, CA

About This Role


We are hiring a Youth Services Manager to lead our housing access programming at Purple House—LYRIC’s space for LGBTQQ Youth—and manage our work with the Coordinated Entry and Rapid Rehousing system in partnership with the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing (HSH).


This role blends site-based direct support with system-level coordination. You'll oversee staff who provide housing navigation, 1:1 case management, and access to wraparound resources for youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness.


As a leader in LYRIC’s Housing and Wellness portfolio, you’ll drive innovation in how young people access stable housing while building partnerships that remove barriers and center youth voice in systems change work.


The position in in-person 100%. 


What You’ll Do - Housing Program Management

  • Lead housing-focused programming at Purple House and ensure trauma-informed services are available on-site.
  • Oversee Coordinated Entry and Rapid Rehousing case management services for TAY in collaboration with city systems.
  • Develop and implement youth-centered workflows for housing referrals, navigation, and stabilization planning.
  • Maintain alignment with contract deliverables and create youth-centered approaches that exceed expectations.


Supervision & Team Development

  • Supervise a team of 3 housing case managers and youth workers.
  • Provide clear expectations, regular coaching, and reflective supervision.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, care, and collaboration.
  • Guide staff professional development with measurable growth plans.


Cross-System Collaboration

  • Serve as a key liaison with the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing (HSH), housing providers, and city partners.
  • Participate in citywide housing access and equity conversations, advocating for LGBTQQ youth of color.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner agencies and youth referral networks.


Program Evaluation & Fiscal Oversight

  • Track program data and report on outcomes using LYRIC’s evaluation tools.
  • Develop and manage a program budget with support from finance and leadership teams.
  • Monitor staffing allocations and ensure financial compliance with funder requirements.


Who You Are

  • A seasoned housing or youth development leader with at least 3 years of program management experience.
  • Familiar with Coordinated Entry, Rapid Rehousing, and the broader San Francisco homelessness response system.
  • Deeply connected to LGBTQQ youth of color, and experienced in harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and positive youth development.
  • An effective supervisor who offers transparent communication, strengths-based coaching, and high support/high accountability practices.
  • Skilled in navigating public systems and advocating for historically excluded communities.
  • Organized and tech-savvy, with experience using tools like Google Suite, Zoom, and basic data/reporting systems.


Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary: $76,550 (non-negotiable under LYRIC’s equity-based compensation model)
