Assistant Teacher – Lavender Hill
Longmont, Colorado
Part-Time | Approximately 25 hours/week
$20–25/hour depending on experience
Lavender Hill is seeking a warm, grounded, and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our intimate, relationship-based early childhood program in Longmont.

Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the lead teacher in daily classroom rhythms and transitions
- Assisting with outdoor activities, nature walks, gardening, and seasonal projects
- Helping maintain a beautiful, warm, and orderly environment
- Supporting children with care, presence, and gentle guidance
- Collaborating closely with a small teaching team and families
Qualifications preferred:
- Experience working with young children
- Background or interest in Waldorf, Reggio, forest school, or nature-based education
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Strong communication and reliability
