Opportunity Overview
Long-term contract, fully remote. The Training Instructor is onsite. You will report to the site Program director.
Your Day-to-Day
Develop and deliver classroom, simulator, and on-the-job training for nuclear plant personnel (e.g., operators, technicians, engineers).
Maintain training materials in compliance with INPO, NRC, and site-specific requirements.
Conduct evaluations, exams, and performance assessments to ensure knowledge retention and skill proficiency.
Participate in the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience).
7 years' experience in a nuclear facility (e.g., licensed operator, maintenance, engineering).
Knowledge of nuclear plant systems, operations, and safety protocols.
NRC Reactor Operator or Senior Reactor Operator license (preferred for operations instructors).
INPO Instructor Certification
NRC Instructor Qualification
Adult Learning or Instructional Design Certification
