About The Role
As an Electro-Mechanical Drafter with the Westinghouse Parts Business (WPB), you will support the metal fabrication engineering team by converting 2D part drawings into accurate 3D models, using company established modeling practices.
You will report to the Manager of Procurement Engineering and will be based out of our New Stanton, PA facility. This is a mobile position that is required on site 2-3 days per week.

You will report to the Manager of Procurement Engineering and will be based out of our New Stanton, PA facility. This is a mobile position that is required on site 2-3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Support metal fabrication engineering team by converting 2D part drawings into accurate 3D models, utilizing company established modeling practices.
- Create 3D models of new/modified sheet metal designs for inclusion in documentation for Design Engineering purposes.
- Use AutoCAD to import and modify TIFF images of legacy drawings per changes requested
- Use AutoCAD tools to import Excel bill of materials into AutoCAD and using multiple AutoCAD files to make new design drawings.
- Check drawing packages for proper layout and dimensioning.
- Participate in design teams with engineers and other departments.
- Work with manufacturing as required for completing design work.
- Complete Engineering Change Operations (ECO), follow redline drawing markups and use databases to approve drawings.
- Associates degree in Drafting and Design Technology, AAS.
- Mechanical CAD/CAM drafting or equivalent experience in a related field
- 1 year of relevant experience
- Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Raster Image
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor 3D modeling and Inventor Sheetmetal
- Understanding of AutoCAD Raster Image program for legacy scanned TIFF drawings
- I&C PCB Board design experience using Altium program
- Understand and follow ANSI/ASME Y 14.5 M-1994 drafting standards
