About The Role
As a Category Manager, Global Logistics you will develop the global category management strategy and sourcing projects for lifting, rigging, and heavy haul services—including both standard and complex/engineered applications. You will support our Outage & Maintenance Services and Energy Systems businesses with a focus on spend analysis cost management, operational excellence and supplier performance. You will report to the Manager, Logistics and Other Services Category and work 100% REMOTE.
Responsibilities
- Develop sourcing strategies for specialty rigging, lifting, and heavy haul services across Legacy Plants (Outage & Maintenance Services) and New Plants (AP1000, AP300, eVinci).
- Analyze market trends and implement competitive bidding strategies; maintain the Strategy Playbook and present insights to leadership.
- Build and manage a diverse, supplier base; conduct risk assessments and lead supplier performance optimization.
- Collaborate with supplier executive leadership and company partners to promote operational excellence and customer service.
- Negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) and prices with supply base ensuring compliance with Westinghouse customer flow-down requirements.
- Maintain deep category expertise by managing industry trends, best practices, indices, and geopolitical impacts within this global category.
- Lead Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) projects, including communication plans and supplier engagement strategies.
- Support Global Trade Compliance in managing intermediary supplier approvals.
- Improve annual cost savings projects to meet Global Supply Chain Services (GSCS) targets.
- Conduct on-site visits to suppliers and customers to contribute to commercial discussions.
- Resolve disputes with suppliers in collaboration with company partners to reach mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Manage Corrective Action Reports (CARs) for logistics suppliers
- Onboard new suppliers by managing contacts, completing Proprietary Information Agreements (PIAs), and overseeing ASL/QSL processes.
- Perform commercial evaluations and prices with new suppliers.
- Be a mentor to less experienced colleagues, providing support and knowledge-sharing to build team capability and confidence.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of procurement or global logistics experience
