About the Role:

The Boom Truck Operator plays a critical role in safely and efficiently transporting, lifting, and placing heavy materials and equipment at various job sites. This position requires operating a boom truck to perform lifting tasks that support construction, maintenance, and infrastructure projects. The operator must ensure all lifts are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and damage. Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL-A) with appropriate endorsements for operating boom trucks.
• Proven experience operating boom trucks or similar heavy lifting equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe rigging practices.
• Ability to read and interpret load charts and lifting plans.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in crane or boom truck operation from a recognized training program.
• Experience working in construction, utilities, or industrial environments.
• Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Moffett lift knowledge

• Maintain accurate records of daily operations, inspections, and any incidents or maintenance needs.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies during all phases of operation.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on the boom truck to ensure optimal performance.
