Veterinary Technician – Urgent Care
Lava Rock Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our growing team in St. George, Utah.
We are an independently owned, fast-paced urgent care hospital focused on high-quality medicine, teamwork, efficiency, and excellent client care. We are looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, and enjoys hands-on patient care in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist doctors with exams, treatments, and procedures
- Venipuncture and catheter placement
- Obtain radiographs and run laboratory diagnostics
- Monitor hospitalized patients and assist with patient treatments
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Support urgent care and same-day appointments
- Help maintain efficient patient flow and organization
Qualifications
- Veterinary clinic experience required
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
