Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and highly skilled Handyman to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preserving the good condition and functionality of our Historic properties. You will perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, from basic fixes to light remodeling, ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities and Duties
- General Maintenance: Perform routine facility inspections, identify issues, and complete necessary preventative maintenance.
- Carpentry & Assembly: Build/install custom shelving, assemble furniture, hang doors, and repair trim or drywall.

- Plumbing: Fix leaky faucets, unclog drains, and replace plumbing fixtures.
- Electrical: Safely troubleshoot and replace outlets, switches, light fixtures.
- Painting & Decorating: Patch holes, sand surfaces, and paint interior or exterior walls.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all local building codes and workplace health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or in a related trade role.
- Solid understanding of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems.
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-oriented attitude.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in varying weather conditions.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
