Job Summary: The Security/Events position is full-time, hands-on position working evenings and weekends. This is a fast-paced job where the employee will be responsible for setting up and tearing down events and performing regular security duties. Custodial duties are also expected and will be a big part of the job with or without an event. This position will require attention to detail and an ability to be flexible in the moment and multi-task.
Hours: Evening Shift every Friday, Saturday, & Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Security/Event Manager and Facilities’ Director.
- Help setup/tear-down different events and rentals.
- Help coordinate events and rentals.
- Perform routine custodial work and complete work orders as assigned.
- Complete work orders and document daily custodial/security rounds.
- Provide building and parking lot security as required including the monitoring of the events and routine rounding.
- Respond to security breaches/incidents, report and document any unusual activities or safety hazards.
- Assist with parking and traffic control as needed.
- Lock and unlock doors before, during, and after hours.
- Escort staff in various situations and provide transportation as needed.
Requirements: Valid Driver's License
