Certified Dietary Manager Position Summary
As the CDM at Laurelwood Health Care, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:
Oversee the budget and purchasing of food & supplies, food preparation, services, and storage.
Oversee safe and timely meal prep, including provision of meal and supplements in accordance with resident care plans. Monitor regular and therapeutic diets.
Develop work schedule for staff, oversee inventory, and inspect meals to ensure standards are met.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and participate in QAPI as needed.
Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Administrator and/or VP of Nutritional Services.
Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
Certified Dietary Manager Requirements
Active Dietary Manager certification
Food Service Manager or certification/degree in Food Service Management or in Hospitality
2 years of Food Service Management preferred
