Position Overview:
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients and play a crucial role in delivering an outstanding client experience. Your primary responsibilities will include managing appointments, greeting clients, answering phone calls, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism.
- Answer phone calls and emails, scheduling appointments, and providing basic information to clients.
- Manage client records and patient data with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries.
- Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth operations and patient care.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering office supplies.
- Handle client concerns or escalate issues to the practice manager or veterinarian when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Comfortable using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, practice management software).
- A love for animals and their owners!
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with veterinary software (e.g., Avimark).
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology is a plus.
