Laurel Road Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our team!
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled, outgoing technicians who want to fully utilize their education and expertise while building meaningful relationships with clients and their pets in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
We are currently hiring due to exciting growth within the practice, including the addition of a new doctor, creating an opportunity for a talented CVT to join our expanding team
In this role, you will:
- Provide high-quality patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient preparation and recovery, dental cleanings, and dental radiographs
- Support efficient exam room workflow while delivering outstanding client communication
- Review treatment plans, provide clear and compassionate discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and professionalism
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians and teammates during outpatient visits, ensuring orders are carried out accurately and patients receive exceptional care
This position is ideal for detail-oriented Certified Veterinary Technicians who are passionate about excellent patient and client care and are excited to work at the top of their license in a collaborative, supportive practice.
Schedule:
This is a flexible, full-time position, with availability needed MondaySaturday.
Full-time benefits and compensation**:
- Compensation: $22-25 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $2000 with valid Florida Certified Veterinary Technician license
- CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
- 3 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in:
- Radiology
- Phlebotomy and laboratory sample collection
- SC, IM, and IV injections
- Inpatient care and anesthesia monitoring/recovery
- Obtaining vitals and patient histories
- Client communication and education
- Dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs
- Microscope evaluation.
