STAFF LANDMAN
Laurel Mountain Energy, LLC (“LME”) is seeking a Staff Landman to aid in its operations and assist in managing its assets in the Appalachian basin.
Location
This role is based at LME’s office in Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania and is expected to work onsite in the office and in the field located primarily in northeast Butler and southwest Clarion Counties.
Land
• Acquire leases, right of way, easements, and fee mineral and surface conveyances
• Provide material support in land acquisition projects including independent contractors
• Review drilling title and curative
• Obtain consents for various permitting activities
• Aid in drafting various land-related business agreements
• Represents LME to the public and various stakeholders
Land Administration
• Provide general support related to Land Administration and curative
• Process and manage land payments, including bonuses, rentals, and damages
• Provide material support and guidance on division orders
• Preparing various land reports
• Assist in maintaining accurate land records and files
The ideal candidate will bring a diversified skillset to the table that can contribute to multiple land-related business priorities.
Qualifications, Education, and Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in land management, real estate, or business preferred
• AAPL, NALTA, or NADOA certifications and/or memberships preferred
• 6 years experience in the Appalachian basin
• Pennsylvania notary preferred
• Experience with upstream operator preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel
• Must be detail oriented with strong analytical skills and have the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• A self-starter that is results orientated
Working Conditions
• Requires the ability to travel
• May be required to work non-standard hours
