We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Golf Shop Manager to manage our golf shop with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties
- Manage inventory levels efficiently, rotate displays keeping the golf shop looking fresh and oversee daily operations to maximize productivity
- Handle customer inquiries, special orders, resolve issues promptly, and deliver memorable member and guest experiences
- Oversee daily and special order POS transactions
- Work closely with the golf professionals to support golf tournaments and special events
- Maintain inventory levels, order merchandise, and ensure the shop is well-stocked with golf equipment, apparel, and accessories
- Supervise shop cleanliness, presentation standards, and adherence to safety protocols to uphold a professional environment
- Manage the tee sheet to ensure all members and guests are checked in correctly.
- Communicate professionally with members and guests in person, on the phone, or via email.
Skills
- Proven leadership experience in roles within hospitality, retail, or resort environments
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage members and guests warmly and resolve conflicts effectively
- Experience in managing events is a plus for coordinating special golf events or tournaments
- Supervising experience with a focus on team development and performance management
- Skilled in shift management and maintaining high standards of services
